These
are some of the most common questions that are asked by our visitors. - Do
I have to pay a fee to have my car featured in a magazine?
No, there
is no cost to the owner of the car. The magazine pays all photography and journalism
costs but any costs involved in cleaning the car or transporting it to the photo
shoot are the car owner's responsibility.
- If
my car is photographed for a magazine, can I get copies of the photos that were
taken?
Yes,
if your car is photographed by us we will send you a disc of hi-res images shortly
after the photo shoot. These are for your own personal use and the files will
be big enough to enlarge to wall print size. Please be aware that most magazine
photographers charge a fee to provide you with a disc of hi-res images. We choose
supply them free of charge.
- How
far will I have to travel to the photo shoot location?
Where possible
we will try to find a suitable location as close as possible to where the car
is based. This is usually within about a 20 minute radius. In some circumstances
you may be required to travel further. If so, we will try to notify you of this
in advance.
- Can
my friends and their cars be in the background of some of the photos?
In
most cases yes, however it depends on the magazine and the theme that we are shooting
for on the day.
- What
are the chances of my car being featured on the cover?
Of
course only one car per issue will make it to the cover, and it will be the editor's
decision as to which car that will be. In most cases this decision is made after
the initial photo shoot.
- My
friend has a really cool car. What are the chances of his/her car being featured
as well?
We are always on the lookout for good feature cars. If
you have friends with good cars send us a few photos.
- If
my car is featured in a magazine will it also appear on FeatureCarsAustralia.com
as a featured car?
Due
to limited server space not all of the cars that we shoot for magazines end up
being featured here. If we do decide to run your car in our galleries it will
only be after the magazine has run the feature first.
